OGDEN — Looking to add some color to your life? Now’s your chance.

The Holi Festival of Colors — known for people throwing colored powder into the air and all over themselves — returns to Ogden on Saturday, May 26, at West Stadium Park, 1650 S. Jefferson St.

Besides the great photo ops, this popular event includes food, DJs, interactive dance, yoga and performances by musicians and bands such as Gaura Karuna, Ananda Groove Band and Namrock Band, according to the festival website.

“In India, Holi announces the arrival of spring and the passing of winter,” reads the website. “The festival breathes an atmosphere of social merriment. People bury their hatchets with a warm embrace and throw their worries to the wind.”

The festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $6.50 online and $8 at the gate. Children 12 and under are free.
